Gettin' my groove back :)

A few months ago I had planned on switching our family back to My Father's World.  I was going to run the boys through Adventures and start Exploring Countries and Cultures in fall.  Then things kept coming up and I really felt a tug on my heart to start ECC now. Our oldest starts high school (insert eeeekk here). This will give us a few months to be all together one more time.

Today was our first day back and it was AMAZING!!!!!!! I could and should kick myself for ever leaving MFW. It is such a perfect fit for our family.  We have attempted various years of MFW and always stop for one reason or another.  That will not be the case this year.

Even Q(4) and E(2) got in on the fun today. We filled out our passport applications for all 10 of us.  We even had a "working lunch" where we did the geography pretest. I can't wait to see the progress each one makes over the year. I have a lot to learn too. P(6) was even pointing out a few countires to the other kids. Awesome!!

Overall, it was a really great day! Paul even had his first formal interview today.

While time to find work seems to be running short in our eyes I know the Lord's timing will be perfect.  This has been a challenging few months but we have gained so much as a family that I wouldn't trade it for anything.  I think God just wanted to make sure we were listening. We are now. :)

A day where you can take time to smell the flowers.....well it's just a good day.
